Holiday to Milan and Switzerland: It was a big success

I went on holiday to Milan and Switzerland. It was a big success!                                                       

The best parts of my trip were visiting the Old Gotthard Tunnel and the New Gotthard Base Tunnel. These were very special to me because I have a love for trains. I felt independent on my holiday. I helped book the tickets, reviewed the travel routes, and made my own choices about food and souvenirs. I really enjoyed travelling by train. I recorded videos, explored new places and saw Lake Lugano, which made me feel proud and happy. A dream came true when I visited the Old Gotthard Tunnel, and I felt confident when I suggested travelling back through the new high-speed tunnel.

In Milan, I had more great experiences. I explored the city, rode on a double-decker train, chose to eat at McDonald’s, and bought my own souvenirs. 

This holiday showed that I am:

 • Growing in independence

 • Confident in making choices 

• Able to stay calm when plans change 

• Proud and happy with new experiences  

• My trip made me feel proud of myself.

I also created numerous videos during my travels. I am looking forward to adding even more to my YouTube channel so that I can share my experiences with others. 

I am grateful for all the support I received on my holiday. This trip was very special, and I will never forget it with fondness.
