Our Services

Domiciliary Care

When a loved one begins to require extra support, one of the most significant decisions families face is whether care should be provided at home or in a residential setting.

For many, domiciliary care offers the perfect balance of safety, comfort, and Independence.

We believe in supporting you or your loved ones at home :

1. Comfort of Familiar Surroundings

Home is more than just four walls; it's memories, routines, and a sense of belonging. Staying in familiar surroundings helps reduce stress and maintain emotional well-being, especially for those living with dementia.

2. Promotes Independence

Unlike residential care, domiciliary care is tailored to the individual’s lifestyle. Whether it’s cooking a favourite meal, enjoying a morning routine, or attending local community activities, care at home empowers people to remain independent for longer.

3. Flexible and Personalised Support

Every person is unique. That’s why our care plans are tailored to individual needs, ranging from a few hours a week to full-time live-in care. Support can include personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility assistance, or simply companionship.

4. Family Peace of Mind

Knowing that a trusted professional is supporting your loved one brings reassurance. Families can relax, confident that their loved one is safe, cared for, and treated with dignity.

Our Caregivers

Our caregivers are carefully selected for their experience, skills, and compassion. They undergo extensive training and background checks to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality care. We are proud to have a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to improving the lives of our patients.

End of Life Care

At LAV Care Services, we believe that everyone deserves comfort, dignity, and respect in the final stages of life. That’s why we are working towards achieving the nationally recognised approach to delivering the highest quality end-of-life care:  Gold Standards Framework (GSF) accreditation.

This means we take the time to really understand each person’s wishes and needs. We plan, communicate openly, and coordinate closely with families, GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure care is seamless and fully personalised.

Our goal is simple: to help people live as well as possible, right up to the end, often in the place they feel most at peace: their own home.

Explore Funding Opportunities

Direct Payments

If you are assessed as being eligible for some Council funding toward the cost of your care, you can choose to take this funding as a cash payment. This is called a Direct Payment.

A personal budget is an amount of council funds that is judged to be sufficient to meet the assessed unmet needs of a person who is eligible for care and support. Personal budgets enable people to have some degree of choice, control and flexibility over the services they receive.

A personal budget for those people receiving care in a community setting can be taken as a direct payment paid straight to the person needing care to be spent as needed, or it can be held and managed by the council or a suitable third party and spent on behalf of the client on services that meet their needs.

You can use Direct Payments to pay for personal assistants to provide care and support.
